Quicktime sucks and so does your face

Spending the day on the internet which I do in my line of work I tend to drift off and get pulled into a media vortex of latest news and videos... normally I manage to avoid pointless file extensions like .rm and .peado but more often than not I end up finding a movie trailer or some kind of game teaser that only fucking plays in QuickTime!
Let me just wait for 6 hours whilst the video fucking buffers and wait a second, you think I’ll save it to my computer because streaming never works with QuickTime? WRONG! QuickTime is shit and the files won’t even play in other media players, I bet most people who really need to watch a QT video will go and download a QT alternative just because they don’t want a mammoth sized media player cluttering up their system. I don’t understand why companies insist on pushing their file types onto the internet when it really isn’t needed, .avi .mpg are fine, I’m not even that fond of .wmv but at least that can stand for wobbly moist vagina which can make me laugh when it asks me to download it, and may I point out QT never tried to make me laugh.

There is absolutely no reason for apple to keep pushing this filetype and player, all other media files do exactly the same as it and can be freely played on all other players. I think that’s what apple computers boils down to for me, they hate the idea of freedom of choice...Playing a .mov? You can only do that with QuickTime. Using an iPod? You can only use that with iTunes because everything else will break and ruin your iPod (Horseshit). Want to do something fun that will make people like you? iLife. The list goes on, only they can have people doing anything related to fun on an apple product. “Boring old spreadsheets and word processing?! No way maaan, that’s nones-the-cool, we’ll let windows make that stuff (that has to work faultlessly all the time) so we can concentrate on making rad apps and forcing QuickTime onto people for no reason”.

At the end of the day, it’s all FLV now anyway so if you can’t deal with the fact that isn’t an apple product then you can go fuck yourselves.
